About Nirvana –

NIRVANA PADILLA (she/her) “Believe me when I say: I know that just showing up can sometimes be the greatest effort we make. My intention is to offer classes that allow for the silliness and the seriousness of life to commingle. My style is currently focused on alignment principles and the curious power of vibration. Sanskrit mantras and pranayama practices have been a great inspiration and anchor for me, and I hope to share some of that in class.

I have had a fluctuating relationship with yoga for about 20 years. Not that any relationship is consistently smooth-sailing, but this past year yoga sat itself firmly at my doorstep. So, I gave in to exploring that. With a gentle nudge from Laela Wilding, friend, mentor, and teacher, I began studying with Meghan Maris in January of 2025. I take the education quite seriously, and I have a dedicated practice that I treat with deep respect…and silliness!”

Anna Fastenko has been practicing yoga for over 30 years. That long of a journey inspired by many great yoga masters has led to a natural overflow of accumulated knowledge that was asking to be shared, initiating a teacher certification in 2020. Having worked as a classical homeopath for almost two decades, Anna brings her deep understanding of physiology and wholistic health to her classes, explaining how the body works through movement, breath, and meditation practices. Avoiding injury and adjusting the asanas for your own body is a paramount priority, and many of the classes include additional seasonal healing and cleansing techniques. Anna likes to weave contemporary psychological insights into ancient yogic philosophy (her initial education was in psychology and she is a current Family Constellation method facilitator), and you can expect to leave each of her classes with new knowledge and better understanding of yourselves. Sometimes there even might be fusion elements from Thai Chi and medical Qigong, which Anna has studied previously.

WHY THIS MATTERS!

  • Corporations and banks only care about their bottom line.

  • If we disrupt the economy for just ONE day, it sends a powerful message.

If they don't listen (they wont) we make the next blackout longer (We will)
